This is just a note of thanks to you and your company, and especially your driver's Mike Hills and John Fu, who drove Copper Canyon ES to Long Beach, CA last week. The weather did not cooperate with us, and when our ferry got cancelled, your drivers were excellent in keeping us informed and getting 70 6th Graders and a dozen chaperones safely to a new destination. Even with several long drives, they were always willing to help and accomodate us so that we could give the students the best memories possible.

Good Morning Lisa,

I wanted to touch base regarding the Lexis Preparatory School trip to Los Angeles this past weekend. Joe Cano was the bus driver assigned to our group. He was great! He was professional, personable and flexible in dealing with a few unforeseen issues:
1. Praise for his driving-we had high winds and rain Friday evening and he handled them safely and professionally.
2. LA traffic is notoriously bad-we never had any traffic headaches. Joe communicated with me to make sure we reached all of our destinations on time.
3. The hotel assured me they had parking for a large coach. Technically, that was the case; however, it was very tight and difficult. Joe handled the situation beautifully. He did not get upset and he made it work.
I was very satisfied with the level of service we received from your company reservations, equipment and driver. I look forward to working with Tour West America in the future and will request Mr. Cano as a driver.

Hello,

My name is Joe Vellutini and last week I had the opportunity to accompany the Gilbert High School Drama Club on a trip to Los Angeles as a parent chaperone. Although I had some initial trepidations about riding on a bus for a 700 mile round trip, within the first 3 minutes our driver Michael H. had put one of those concerns to rest. He introduced himself, asked everyone to please follow a few simple rules and made some excellent suggestions to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. We then departed and within 3 miles he allayed another concern; his driving was so smooth and his handling of the bus was so expert that I knew we were all in capable hands. Mike anticipated freeway traffic patterns, handled tight side streets and parking lots like the expert we soon learned he was. Mike never failed to get us to any of our destinations in time even with notorious LA traffic delays or in a challenging area like downtown Los Angeles, and he always did it with grace and charm and a beautiful smile from, day after day.

The kids simply loved Mike, all of us parents greatly appreciated him and Mike was a major part in the trip being the complete success that it was. He is an exceptional driver, a terrific person and an excellent representative for your company.

From the courteous service of your personnel in the office to the attention to detail of our needs, to the appearance & cleanliness of the coach, you guys exceeded our expectations and put quality of service on a new level. And special recognition should be given to our driver on the trip John Fu. Not only were his driving skills excellent, but he was courteous and helpful with any of our needs. John's work ethic and demeanor can certainly best be described as "Professionalism at its Finest". Again, thanks for the wonderful service; and if we ever do a tour in your area in the future, we most certainly will be giving you a call.

Dear Marjie:

I would just like to take a few minutes to let you know how much Xavier Prep Crew appeciated having Mike Land as our bus driver last weekend. He was courteous, professional, and on time when needed.

As you are aware, on Friday, April 3rd, driving over to San Diego all high profile vehicles were pulled off of interstate 8 due to high winds just west of Ocotillo, California. Mike remained calm and cool, and diligently worked on finding another route to San Diego, so the team would have a chance of arriving before dark, so the team could unload the boat, rig it, and have it ready to row in the race on Saturday. I know this was not easy, and made for a tedious trip, but he handled it beautifully.

Both of the chaperones mentioned when the bus was pulled off, they looked at Mike's expression, and not an ounce of concern showed, which immediately calmed them, which in turn allowed them to calm the team. The most amazing part, he tdid this with a sense of humor which was needed.

I would like to request Mike Land drive for us any time he is available. I know this may be a difficult task, but if it is possible, I would certainly appreciate it.

I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to tourWest America and to Mike Land. Having Mike as a driver made our weekend that much easier, so thank you!!!!

I just arrived back home from a trip to AZ with a tour group lined up through Siouxland Travel out of Orange City, IA.  We had one of your employees, Ray Malinda, as our driver and I wanted to pass along to you what a great employee you have in him.  I'm sure most of the time you hear the negative aspect of things - but I wanted to be sure to let you know that Ray was great.  He was punctual, he was pleasant, he was courteous, he was personable, he was a great driver, and we thoroughly enjoyed him.  Even my 13 year-old said he was great!
