Bus and Motorcoach Operator, Driver
Pre-Employment Qualifications: All motorcoach operator applicants must be willing to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations requirements, state and local regulations, and Tour West America, Inc requirements, policies and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to:
A current state issued Commercial Drivers License (CDL) class A or B with passenger and air brake endorsement.
Proof of legal status.
Be of good moral character.
Successfully pass an extensive background check.
Successfully pass an extensive driving test.
Furnish a current copy, not more than 30 days old, of a 39 month driver’s license record furnished by the state issuing the drivers license.
Be 25 years of age or older.
Possess a current DOT medical card and provide a copy of the long form examination report.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and agree to a zero tolerance policy that includes random, post accident and reasonable suspicion testing..
Have an acceptable employment record with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle.
Have no more than 1 moving violations and/or preventable accidents in the last 39 months. Have no suspensions for moving violations. Have no drug or alcohol convictions. The MVR must be not older than 30 days and contain all pages.
Possess the necessary communication skills to perform required tasks.
Possess the necessary reading, writing, math, and map reading skills to perform the required tasks.
Be physically able to load and unload heavy suitcases from the coach baggage bays to the curb at least twice daily in quantities of up to 60 bags
Successfully complete a 25-50 hour training program.

Motorcoach Fleet Mechanic/Technician
Tour West America seeks a talented, experienced and cooperative professional to join our shop team in keeping our fleet safe and on the road.
Job Details, Requirements and Qualifications:
Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends. However, the target shift for this hiring is late morning to early evening, such as 9:30-6:00, full time.
Available for road calls in company vehicle during shift and/or afterhours.
After hour phone duty at least one week in a 4 week rotation.
Compensation is dependent on the demonstrated experience in general heavy truck and/or bus repair for commercial fleet operations, including the diagnostics, repair and preventative maintenance of:
Diesel engine systems
Transmissions
Drive trains and components
Electrical systems
Air systems
Disc and drum brakes
Suspensions
Steering
Wheels and tires
Air-conditioning systems
Audio-visual systems
Passenger interiors
Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments as assigned in compliance with the manufacturers' and company schedules.
Repair or rebuild all or part of equipment systems.
Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation.
Follow company policy and procedures in making all repairs.
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally).
Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat & kneel as necessary to perform the job duties.
Responsible for shop cleanliness, safety and compliance.
Apply knowledge and work in accordance with DOT, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other rules and regulations as required.
Participate in company training programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Prompt daily attendance at assigned work location.
Must supply own Diesel mechanic hand tools.
Basic computer skills.
Current ASE certifications desired, not required.
Basic welding skills such as Oxy/Acetylene, MIG, and ARC.
Brake inspection certification.
Air-conditioning certification.
Road test company vehicles.

Current CDL class B with P endorsement, acceptable driver MVR, current medical certificate.
